Westview Metal Club is rad. High School kids get together and listen to, and discuss, metal. They are having a fundraiser selling T-Shirts. We're getting a whole grip of 'em and you should too! Hey guys - Man, am I ever lazy. I can't believe this is my first blog post! I also can't believe that it's already been almost a week since I got back from mixing our new record... It was hard work, and I was sick the whole time (complain, complain), but it was a total blast! And most importantly, after 5 days in the most technologically advanced studio ever seen by man or beast ( blackbird studio - check it out!), our record is mixed, and it sounds GREAT. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to these three fellows - First and foremost to Chris Funk, who is doing a bang-up job producing this album. Keeps us on task, gets our lazy asses out of bed, and has focused this recording into a razor sharp, superhot laser of rock music. It was his loony idea to fly all the way to Nashville to mix. Next, to our mixing engineer, Vance Powell, who won a Grammy last year, but didn't let that stop him from keeping an open mind about working with some grubby dudes from Portland...

Those dudes are still at it! Got some super HEAVY/scary mixes today. Almost done!! One of these days this album will come out, too, we promise.

Right now Aaron is in Nashville at Black Bird Studios mixing the new record with Vance Powell . They sent us 3 totally bitchin' mixes yesterday and we hope to get another 3 today. Those boys are hauling (and kicking) ass!! Super stoked about the way this album is turning out!
