Our pals, Lions , came through the NW this past weekend and we played 2 ridiculously fun shows with them. The first was Thursday Aug. 13th at the way too small and sweaty East End. Thanks to everyone who crammed in and sweated as much as we did! And to those who were turned away, please try again Saturday Sept. 19th at the roomier Ash St. Saloon. We'll be there with Saviours for MFNW . Friday, Aug. 14th, we headed up to the Sunset Tavern in Seattle. The opener was Little Cuts , a brand new band featuring some of our old pals. They destroyed. Garagey-Heavy-Pop style.. they even ended their set with a garagey version of Thin Lizzy's "The Rocker"! Lions blew the roof off as always. And what an amazing crowd! AGAIN!! We are feeling the love, Seattle, and want to return it. This was maybe the most fun we've had up there.. yet. We'll be back Sept. 18th at the Comet w/ Saviours. See you then!

PDXPOPNOW! is a free, all-ages event here in town with tons of local bands of all flavor. I think it's been going on 5 or 6 years and seems to get bigger and bigger each year. It's good times.

Been slack about keeping this blog current - here's a quick "catch up". We cruised up to Seattle a few weeks back and played live on Hannah Levine's radio show on KEXP. We had a blast and became fast friends. After the show we all headed up to Ballard to tear it up with new and old pals.. The next day, after much needed Bloody Marys and coffee, we reunited with Helms Alee and Black Eyes & Neckties at the Comet on capital hill. The show was amazing! We will most definitely be coming to Seattle WAY more often! (in fact, we'll be there this Friday 8/14 at the Sunset tavern). Play "Find Tad" in this photo... Big thanks to Jesse for putting us up and feeding us too many late night shots. Sorry for the boring post- they will get better!!
